The history of Häberli AG started back in the 1950s, when brothers Max and Walter Häberli founded the company manufacturing specific kinds of springs in the Swiss clock and watchmaking town of Grenchen.

Production at that time was limited exclusively to clock and watch springs. In the 1960s, the company developed under the management of Walter Häberli, becoming a manufacturer of all types of high-tech springs.

Then on 1 September 1988, the business was taken over by current proprietor Hans Häberli and further expanded thanks to his new dynamic management style. The company then relocated from Kastelstrasse to rented premises at Dammstrasse 30.

In 1993, a change of ownership to the rented premises in Dammstrasse forced the young entrepreneur to look around for a suitable new property.

Then in 1995 new premises were taken up in a factory building in Archstrasse.

With its 13 full-time and 9 part-time members of staff, today Häberli AG is a market pioneer, successfully looking after a client base in countless sectors, such as medical engineering, machine and apparatus construction, electronic and electrical engineering, connection and communications technologies and, of course, still the high-end clock and watchmaking industry.
